All of the peach varieties we grow are chosen for their sweet, juicy flavor. We tree ripen them, pick them carefully into 1/2 bushel crates and they are usually on a truck the next day headed for one of our markets.

In addition to the list of yellow peaches on the left, we also grow white fleshed varieties which will be available throughout the growing season.

All of our apples are grown on dwarf root stocks. The smaller trees are easier to pick, the overall production is greater because we can squeeze many more trees per acre, and the quality of the fruit is far superior.

The apples are either picked directly into crates for market or into 25 bushel bins for later sale if our crates are full.

We never put wax on our apples so they may not be as shiny as some, but we think you will enjoy their taste.

We welcome your thoughts on what we are growing. Please let us know.

Other tree fruit to look out for during the market season:

  • June/July – Cherries (Sweet and Sour)

  • July – Apricots

  • July/August – Plums and Nectarines

  • September/October – Pears

Strawberries:

Chandler – this was originally a California variety which has proven to be well suited to conditions on the East Coast. The large, full flavored berries are grown on raised beds and produce fruit over a 4-5 week season.

Raspberries:

Varieties – Lauren, Taylor, Prelude, Encore, Nova and Polana. Available June 20 – Mid August.

Blackberries:

Chester – once again, we offer only one variety, and it was selected primarily for its taste–we think you will agree; Chester is a thornless upright variety

Blueberries:

Varieties – Patriot, Bluecrop, Bluetta, Liberty, and Aurora. Available mid June to late August
